Our favourite trends for 2020
And just like that, another year has come and gone! 2019 saw a selection of trends creeping their way into our bathrooms, with an emphasis on exposed plumbing, concrete and industrial décor.

This year we are ready to welcome more exciting and wonderful styles to the mix. Here is a selection of our favourite up-and-coming trends for 2020.

Classic Blue

This years Pantone Colour of the year was crowned Classic Blue. At Croydex we live and breath blue, and love incorporating this into our products. Whether you want to go all out with a statement wall or add some subtle hints using accessories, your bathroom will be in style and ready to grace your favourite home magazine!

A stone or concrete effect can be difficult to incorporate into the bathroom if you’re not willing to spend a small fortune, but fortunately we have our grey pebble bathroom mat, with memory foam to help you achieve this look on a budget, but with a luxurious feel.

Real foliage

One simple step to bring a room to life is to add real plants. Their vibrant colours and scents add a new dynamic to any room and help to purify the air at the same time! With plants it’s often the bigger, the better, but if you’re short for space you can still create this effect with small succulents and orchids.

Black and white

If you’re struggling to find a colour scheme for your bathroom, you can’t go wrong with black and white. Adding some white touches like a bathmat or soap dish to a dark floor or wall is a great way to add a contrast in colours and will really highlight your bathroom accessories.

Free standing bathtubs

The classic design of a free-standing tub is enough to set the tone for any bathroom. The design not only offers the user a luxurious experience but having the floor visible under the tub can give the illusion of a larger bathroom.
