Overall Role:
This role is a vital part of a busy Marketing Team, supporting the Marketing Manager with the marketing communications and production of supporting online and offline marketing materials for the company.  This Marketing Executive role requires experience in managing activities and projects, utilising  someone who can raise the profile of the Company through the development of active marketing strategies and communication programmes in line with business objectives. 
You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, helping to develop and manage a marketing strategy that supports organisational goals around brand awareness, traffic growth and customer acquisition and retention.

The current Marketing Team include a Head of Marketing, Marketing Manager, Digital Communications Manager, Graphic Designer and Marketing Co-ordinator.
Experience Required:
Ideally a minimum of 3 years within a Marketing role, with a marketing degree desirable but not essential.

Person Specification:
  • The ideal candidate will be a team player, working alongside and supporting the Marketing Manager
  • Punctual, polite and able to communicate with various levels of staff
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong, respectful and effective partnerships with the many internal departments with whom Marketing work to complete projects
  • Full knowledge of the print process
  • Effective project management, taking responsibility for individual projects from concept through to print/online
  • Must be meticulous when it comes to attention to detail
  • Creative – must have artistic flair and have an eye for detail
  • Ability to multi-task/stability under pressure – reacts well to change and stays positive despite setbacks
  • Flexible – maintains effectiveness in a fast moving and/or changing environment and with varying tasks, responsibilities or people

This role covers Croydex, Metlex and Bathshoponline brands as follows:
  • Website management of all platforms including SEO, Product Maintenance, Page Updates, Landing Page Optimisation, Domain Authority Activities, Image editing and optimisation
  • Planning, Scheduling & Monitoring of all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and Instagram)
  • Proofing collateral and material for branding, grammar, spelling and visual mistakes
  • Traditional and digital copywriting for websites, blog posts, news articles and product materials
  • Digital marketing input to ecommerce, export, trade, sales and the wider business
  • Creation of digitally optimised content Copy, Alt tagged images, Banners and documents
  • Work with the product implementation team to create packaging for both the Croydex and Metlex brand
  • Creation of both digital and print forms of communications working alongside the in-house graphics team
  • Support the Marketing Manager and wider team with a number of administrative duties

8.30am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4pm Friday including 30 minutes lunch break
Leave Entitlement:
Annual leave is earned pro rata and is 25 days each year.
