MODERN SLAVERY ACT 2015

Croydex understands and is fully committed to its responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure best practice both within the organisation and along with the suppliers of goods and services to the organisation.

Croydex recognises that items, components and equipment sourced for the manufacture of goods, or used through our operational activities are potentially at risk where issues surrounding modern slavery are concerned.  As part of our due diligence process into slavery and human trafficking, our supplier approval process will incorporate a thorough review of the controls undertaken by any supplier; to ensure full understanding and adherence to the Act. This will apply to all existing and any new suppliers.

Croydex will not knowingly support or deal with any business involved in slavery or human trafficking.

The Managing Director and Senior Executive team take full responsibility for implementing this policy and ensuring compliance with this Act.

LIMITED LIABILITY WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES

Any products covered by a Croydex’ limited liability warranty for the stated term from the date of purchase protects against all faults arising due to defective materials or manufacture during normal residential bathroom use only.

If a Croydex product is determined by an authorized Croydex technician to be defective either in materials or in workmanship, Croydex 
will replace the product or affected parts at its own discretion.  If replacement or repair is not feasible, Croydex will refund a proportion of the original purchase price of the product based on the remaining term of this limited liability warranty.

The warranty does not cover products that have not been installed in accordance with the Croydex supplied installation guide, or products that have been damaged through abuse, misuse, misapplication, wear and tear, cleaning or maintenance activities, in addition to any other activities not in accordance with the Croydex instructions supplied. 

DISCLAIMER

Responsibility and liability of Croydex will be limited to replacement or refund of products if proved to be faulty due to manufacture defects.  Incorrect installation, use, maintenance, tampering and vandalism exclude Croydex from liability.

Croydex shall not be liable for any other expense, loss or damage; whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary arising in connection with the sale, installation, or use of, or the inability to use Croydex products.

5 YEAR ANTI-CORROSION GUARANTEE

This product is guaranteed against corrosion for 5 years. Please retain a copy of your receipt which must be presented should a guarantee claim be necessary. This guarantee covers corrosion under normal usage, when the product is installed, used and cleaned in accordance with these instructions. This guarantee does not cover corrosion resulting from damage to the protective coating due to the use of abrasive sponges or pads, abrasive cleaners, strong chemical cleaners or metal polish. In the unlikely event that corrosion should occur during the guarantee period we will replace the product.

The limited liability warranty is in addition to, and does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.
